Following my visits to Qatar ; Hua Hin ; Tao Garden ; and Old Town Chiang Mai I flew back to Bangkok where my WFOT “World Federation of Occupational Therapists 2026” Conference has just begun. I began the Conference by visiting Yuwaprasart Waithayopathum Children & Adolescent Psychiatric Hospital and Autism Treatment facility in Bangkok Thailand. I learned a lot from the gifted therapists at the hospital and my fellow conference attendees from around the world. The setting had great OT equipment and an Asian flare.
Before the Conference I submitted my Vision for the Future of Occupational Therapy as Expanding the Role of Mental Health in Pediatric & school Occupational Therapy
I attended the keynote presentation from the WFOT President. Another great experience was the introduction of member delegates from around the world in their traditional dress.
I displayed my poster on appllying Mindfulness Strategies in School OT
